My name is Richard Robins-Bird and I built and own the one and only hangar at Dornoch airfield. It was constructed in 2019 and funded entirely out of my own pocket. Weather permitting, I'm at the airfield most weekends so, if you see me please feel free to stop by for a chat.
Note for visiting pilots: please do not park your aircraft anywhere on my hangar site without speaking with me first, as the hangar is in constant use. My number is 07973 851944. Thank you!
Please note that, although the hangar is mine, I am only a leaseholder of my hangar site and I have absolutely nothing to do with the day to day managment of the airfield. That's all done by the Highland Council. So, if you wish to fly in to Dornoch, and do not hold a landing card, you MUST get PPR from the Highland Council.
